Demo Is a Four-Letter Word

We don’t necessarily accept ‘demos’ as it were, but we do accept pitches for albums, projects, comps, and various collaborations.

We’re not looking to sign anyone. In the #making-noise channel, we hear plenty of works-in-progress. You are more than welcome to join and participate on our server and let everyone hear your work.

Many netlabels will focus on one particular thing, and ours is simply being an avenue by which our members can get more listens. We just want more people to listen to noise and have fun hanging out.

Albums

Primarily, as a general community for harsh noise, we want our catalog to represent not only our members’ work but to provide a diverse array of noise subgenres and styles.

When you send us a pitch for your album, please be sure to include important details like instrumentation, descriptions of textures used, relevance, or some kind of backstory.

When releasing work, it can be incredibly helpful to say something interesting to say about it. For more on that, see the next section.

Video

Uninteresting noise is sometimes unavoidable, but some nice visuals can go a long way in ameliorating your situation. You still deserve to be heard, right?

For people needing visual accompaniment for one of our releases we also offer amateur video production services done by Scarlet Death. (If not releasing with us, you can commission her separately at the link.)

If you make your own music videos / noise visuals and need somewhere for it to go, we can also host it on our YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook pages.

Splits / Comps

While the server admins organize most compilations, we can publish and distribute other compilations organized by our members. If you have an interesting idea for something, please let us know.

Occasionally people will ask us to release their splits or help with their comp in some way and we think that’s neat.

Re-Releases

If you’re a relatively active member of our community: we are able to distribute one of your older releases that you’ve only released to Bandcamp to streaming as well as have it uploaded as a video to our YouTube channel for a livestreaming event.

Physical

We haven’t done any physical releases at this time. As an online community run by volunteers, we’re not entirely equipped to handle much more than drop shipping situations (like with Kunaki) at the moment. Feel free to contact us if you’re wanting to do a physical run of one our releases.

Streaming

Using Repost Network, we are able to automatically split royalties to other members using their SoundCloud accounts. The royalty rate is 50/50. Streaming releases require more personal information and technical details than Bandcamp and YouTube releases. You can check our streaming catalog here.

Special Projects

If you visit us on itch.io we occasionally run Game Jams. As of this writing we are currently hosting Glitchfest.

We’ll pretty much upload anything you send us to our YouTube page if you have a music video or album you want done as a special live streamed event or just for archival purposes.

If you are doing a charity project of some kind and would like to use our platform to promote it / co-host it / sponsor participate in it feel free to send us a line.

Please be sure to read over what we do and what we’re looking for before sending us a message, thank you.
